2005: After earning a spot on the All-GSC second team his first two seasons, Brandon finished 8th at the conference championship, landing him a spot on the first team. At the Auburn Invitational, he ran a career best 8K time of 25:39.77, which was ranked third fastest all-time at UAH. His time of 25:57 at the GSC Championship is the fourth best time ever. In the classroom, Brandon earned Academic All-GSC honors for the second time. In addition, he was a member of the USTFCCCA Academic Team and UAH Athletics Bronze Scholar.
2004: For the second straight season, Brandon was solid on the course. He ran two of UAH's fastest times ever in the 10K. He set a school record in the 10K at the Chile Pepper Classic with a time of 32:22.1. He ran the eighth fastest 10K time (33:20) at the Division II South Region Championship. Brandon was the Chargers' top finisher in all but one meet. He earned second team All-GSC honors with a 15th place finish at the conference championship. Along with that honor, Brandon was a member of the USTCA-NCAA Academic team. He was also Academic All-GSC and a UAH Athletics Silver Scholar.
2003: Brandon had a solid freshman season earning second team All-GSC honors with a 20th place finish at the conference championship. He finished in the top five among UAH runners in all but one race. Brandon also was a member of the GSC Academic Honor Roll and a UAH Athletics Silver Scholar.
Prep: Brandon lettered in both cross country and track at Central High. He ran all of the distance events in track, including the 1600, 3200, 5000 and 800 meters. He was class valedictorian, a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
