Jackson, Tenn. - Junior guard Candace Lee
scored a career-high 29 points, but she was the only UAH player in double-figures as the Lady Chargers lost their ninth straight game, 79-64, to Lambuth on Wednesday night.
The Lady Chargers fell to 3-17 with the loss, while Lambuth improved to 17-7 with their ninth straight win. The Lady Eagles also remained unbeaten at 8-0 versus the Gulf South Conference.
Lee was on fire, hitting 10-of-15 shots, including five 3-pointers. She also was 4-for-6 from the freethrow line.
Jenee Webb, who burned the Lady Chargers with 36 points in the first game at Spragins Hall, led Lambuth with 26. Former UAH guard LaTonya McKinney

It was all UAH early as the Lady Chargers led by as much as 12 in the first half and 34-29 at halftime. In the second half, the Lady Eagles chipped away at the UAH lead. Then, with 11:25 left Kristin Brison nailed a 3-pointer to give Lambuth their first lead of the game at 48-46. Brison's bomb ignited a 12-2 run for Lambuth and ended with a 57-48 lead.
Later, Lee hit 3-pointer to cut the Lambuth lead to six at 59-53, but the Lady Chargers would get no closer. Lambuth pulled away, building a lead that grew to as much as 16 points.
The Lady Chargers shot 44% (23-of-54) from the field, including 8-for-23 from three point range. But, as has been so many times before, turnovers were devastating as the Lady Chargers coughed it up 24 times.
The Lady Chargers get back to the Gulf South Conference schedule on Saturday at North Alabama. It will be a must win for the Lady Chargers who are 0-6 in the GSC.
