PENSACOLA, Fla. - After an 0-3 weekend on the road at West Florida including Sunday's 9-0 no-hit shutout, the Alabama-Huntsville baseball team (22-13, 3-6 GSC) will be glad to return home to the "Rocket City" and play their first-ever on-campus home game on Wednesday afternoon.
Sunday's contest saw UWF's Kevin Johnson put together a masterful performance on the hill for the Argonauts (29-13, 10-2 GSC). Hill improved to 6-3 on the season behind a seven-strikeout, five walk outing.
Five Chargers worked on the hill for UAH with sophomore starter Ryan Griffin (Athens) taking the loss.
Wednesday's on-campus contest is slated for a 2 p.m. start against Miles.
