 Zellers Birmingham - The Gulf South Conference announced the 2008 Fall
All-Academic teams on Tuesday and four UAH athletes made the cut. The men's and women's soccer and cross country teams each had one player to make
the Academic teams. In addition, 30 others made the Fall Academic Honor Roll.
 Moshier Senior Erin Zellers (Red Lion, Pa.) and sophomore Josh Moshier (Port Byron, Ill.) represented the UAH Cross Country teams, while Geoffrey Merry (Florence) and Lauren Burns
(Huntsville) were chosen from the UAH soccer teams.
 Merry Zellers is a Psychology/Sociology major with a GPA of 3.59. She was also a member of the GSC All-Academic team in 2007. During the season, Zellers was All-South Region and first team All-GSC. She also earned GSC Female Runner of the Week. Meanwhile Moshier, who was second team All-GSC, has a GPA of 3.70 in Undergraduate Studies.
 Burns Merry is a Political Science major with a 3.67 GPA. He played in seven games in goal for the Chargers in 2008 with four starts. He had a record of 1-3-2 with a shutout. He gave up four goals and had 24 saves. Merry is also a repeat member of the GSC All-Academic team from 2007. Burns has an overall GPA of 3.85 in Elementary Education. She played in 15 games with two starts during the season. She tied for the lead on the team in scoring with 10 points off of five goals. She also had one game-winner.
