HUNTSVILLE | Sunday's softball game between the second-ranked University of Alabama in Huntsville and West Alabama has been canceled due to heavy rain that has moved into the Tennessee Valley this afternoon.
 
The Chargers will now turn their attention to the postseason as UAH opens the Gulf South Conference Softball Championships in Cullman, Alabama, on Thursday. The squad holds the top seed and will face eighth-seeded Christian Brothers at 11 a.m. to start the double-elimination event.
