Experience: 2nd season.
2008: Carrie redshirted with an injury. Off the court, she was a UAH Athletics Silver Scholar.
2007: Carrie played in 58 games, had 76 kills, 12 digs and 20 blocks. Off the court, she was a UAH Athletics Silver Scholar and a member of the Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Prep: Along with volleyball, Carrie lettered in basketball and tennis at Donoho. She earned 1A-3A Player of the Year and All-State honors. She was also Birmingham News Player of the Week and a member of the Elite 8 All-Tournament team. In addition, Carrie was Class 1A Region C MVP and Class 1A All-Area team. She also earned Calhoun County All-Tournament team and Most Valuable Player honors. In basketball, Carrie 1A-3A Player of the Year, 1A Area 9 All-Tournament and All-Regional team, along with Calhoun County All-Tournament team and Most Valuable Player. Off the court, Carrie earned several honors including National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, USAA National Honor Roll, Presidents Education Award, Volleyball USAA National Leadership Merit Award and USAA National English Merit Award.
